Eleni has many years experience working in Children’s services. This includes, Early Childhood Teaching, Director of a Child Care Centre and Manager of Family Day Care and In-home Care Services. She is also a qualified Adult Educator who has written and delivered pre-service learning material for early childhood students. Besides children’s story books, Eleni has written many articles and contributed to resource documents and conferences for early childhood professionals. She has a keen interest in Attachment Theory and believes children need to develop strong emotional attachments with significant adults in the early years, as a springboard for formal learning and healthy adulthood.

Suzy is a professional artist with more than twenty years experience in the field. In addition to children’s book illustrations, her work includes pencil and ink drawing, digital art, professional mural painting and puppet making. Suzy established and operated her own art studio in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor Arts in Education and brings both her artistic and educational skills to these books.
